Due to it's latitudinal length, the European country of Sweden has a temperate climate in the southern region and a subarctic in the north. The cities of Uppsala and Ostersund have an annual temperature range of 21 and 23 degrees Celsius. While here in Denver we have an annual temperature range of 21 degrees Celsius however, our average temperature is much warmer than either city. And while all three cities have an annual precipitation range of around 46mm both Swedish cities average over 100mm more precipitation per year than Denver and have a much more constant monthly average.

  1. I've never looked into the climate of Sweden before but by looking at your graph it is exactly what I had imagined. Looks like it is a lot cooler on average than Denver with a lot more precipitation.

  2. It's interesting how the temperature graph makes the temperatures in these three cities appear proportional, yet the precipitation of the graph does not. I'm surprised that Denver gets more precipitation in some months than the snowy Scandinavian country of Sweden!
